Christian Cox

CFC Law Office is led by Christian Cox, a seasoned attorney with over 10 years of legal experience, complemented by extensive corporate operations and entrepreneurial startup expertise. His hands-on business background enables him to provide dynamic, practical legal advice rooted in real-world operations, while collaborating with a trusted network of professionals in accounting, insurance, HR, IT, safety, and tax law.

Christian advises clients on a wide range of matters, including employment law issues, regulatory compliance, asset and stock sales, franchising opportunities, raising capital through funding strategies, real estate transactions, exit planning methods, business operations liability, insurance coverage options, trade secrets protection, cryptocurrency trading regulations, intellectual property rights, software as a service (SaaS) agreements, licensing contracts, and financial vehicles using trusts or limited liability companies (LLCs). As a business law attorney and corporate lawyer, he specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), due diligence processes, commercial contracts, and venture capital deals.

In his past roles, Christian has rebranded companies, managed IT departments for multiple firms (starting his first IT business at age 13), worked in construction and engineering companies, built EPC safety departments, ensured compliance for health plans, 401(k)s, and other employee benefits, drafted employee handbooks and operations manuals, established and tracked key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail and logistics operations, facilitated the buying and selling of companies worth hundreds of millions, handled insurance purchases and sales, arranged leveraged financing and commercial transactions, secured collateral for clients, and guided business owners from startup formation through comprehensive estate planning.

His estate planning services include creating trusts, advance directives, powers of attorney, wills, and, upon request, probate litigation support.

As a startup legal advisor and general counsel alternative, Christian aims to deliver turnkey, cost-effective services—often coordinating with third-party experts—without the expense of a full-time in-house attorney. Having owned multiple startups himself and served numerous business owners, he deeply understands their needs in areas like contract drafting, policy development, probate administration, dispute resolution, and settlement negotiations. His focus is on proactive, common-sense prevention strategies, drawing from his own day-to-day decision-making experience to help clients avoid pitfalls in business litigation, corporate governance, intellectual property law, and beyond.
